Inside, Toby locked the door and tugged Ven toward him. “Think dinner’ll last another couple minutes?” he asked, getting a hand on the back of Ven’s neck and licking at his lips. Just a few more kisses. It had been a long day and he really liked kissing Ven.
“Yeah, I think so. Why?” Ven smiled and kissed Toby back, hands on his hips.
“‘Cause I’m not quite done kissing you yet,” Toby murmured.
“Oh, well, get on with it then.”
There was a convenient wall, right there, and he backed Ven up against it so he could lean into Ven’s body while they kissed. Ven’s hands slid around to cup Toby’s ass. Toby smiled into the kisses; Ven was obviously very fond of his ass, something Toby didn’t mind at all. Toby slid his other hand up into Ven’s hair again, feeling the silky strands slip between his fingers. He licked into Ven’s mouth, purring. Ven slid his hands up Toby’s back, holding him close.
After a moment, Toby heard the crackling of the fire and turned to see. He laughed, delighted, and turned back to kiss Ven lightly on the lips. “It cleared inspection? You’re pretty amazing, you know that?”
“Yeah, it did. And I just do my job.” Ven kissed Toby back and nudged Toby toward the living room, smiling affectionately. “Come on in and have a beer, and some dinner. You look like you need feeding, as Momma would say.”
“I wasn’t talking about the inspection,” Toby said, slipping off his shoes and padding into the living room, where a picnic dinner was waiting for him.
“Oh.” Ven followed him in. “If you say so.”
Toby turned around, gesturing toward the picnic basket, roaring fire, and dinner laid out. “I say so.”
“You’re the boss,” Ven said lightly, teasing. He got an arm around Toby’s waist and kissed him playfully.
“After hours, remember?” Toby nipped at Ven’s lush lower lip. “Not the boss anymore.”
