Several stories have followed the men as their relationship began and then quickly deepened. Things between them have been mostly smooth sailing up until now, and this is the first time that we really see Ven and Toby at odds about something. It’s a side of the characters that I really enjoyed seeing, and gave them additional depth and weight as complete and well drawn characters.”
