Free Fiction: “Travesty”

This was written to a prompt by Anah Crow while I was hosting the Torquere Social LiveJournal. It’s set after the as-yet-unpublished story “Out of Uniform.”

The skirt fit just right. It clung to Ansel’s hips and thighs, not leaving anything to the imagination. Behind him, the door opened and closed.

“Jesus, Ansel.” It was Colby, his voice a low, rasping whisper. Colby’s parents were visiting this week. Usually, that meant Ansel’s skirts and dresses were boxed up in the basement, but not this time. Tonight, it was Colby’s birthday, and Ansel had every intention of giving him the best gift he could think of. He’d even shaved his legs.

“You ready to go?” Ansel asked, turning around to face Colby. The view from the front was even better. His dick was a hard ridge bisecting his belly beneath the soft, dark fabric of the skirt.

Colby swallowed hard, his eyes wide as saucers. “Where are we going?”

“Travesty.” It was a nightclub two towns over: close enough to drive, but far enough that Ansel wouldn’t get outed at the station. Being a transvestite cop wasn’t easy.

“Ansel…” Colby bit his lip, glancing back at the bedroom door.

“Don’t worry, baby.” Ansel smiled. “I’ll wear a long coat on the way out. They won’t notice a thing.” Besides, his parents had gone to bed two hours ago. If they were still awake, Ansel would eat the damn skirt.
